Cultivating Rural Access

Access to healthcare and education are two of the most important contributors to a thriving life. The Turner Center is proud to support literacy efforts in Tennessee, including Read to be Ready in Giles County and Project Bridge in Henry County.

Our newest Program is The Rural Health Advocacy Network. The mission of this program is to improve the health of patients by working to expand access to quality healthcare in our community.  The primary way we see achieving this goal is by empowering local volunteer Advocates and pairing them with patients enrolled in the Network.

We are currently exploring new ways to improve quality access to healthcare in Giles County and beyond. The Martin Methodist College Nursing Vans travel throughout the region to offer preventative care screenings. Contact our nursing department for more information.
